Supervision

Supervision

I currently supervise a range of therapists, including assistant psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists, counsellors, and clinical psychologists. I provide clinical, case-load and therapy supervision.

My aim as a supervisor is to provide a safe and supportive reflective space for therapists to explore and develop their practice, regardless of their stage as a clinician. As a trauma specialist, I am mindful of the emotional impact that therapy supervision can have, and I always include space within supervision to consider the supervisee’s wellbeing and explore ways of promoting self-care.

As an integrative practitioner, I am able to supervise therapists working within various models, including CBT, ACT, Schema, and CFT. I am also happy to supervise other integrative and pluralistic practitioners.

I have a particular interest in trauma and attachment, and I bring a trauma-informed and attachment-focused perspective to case discussions in supervision.

If you are interested in supervision and want to discuss this further, I can provide a free 20 minute phone or online initial consultation to explore this further. Please contact me and we can arrange a time to do this.

I have learned a lot through her reflection and insight. I have been able to open my thoughts and look at them more clearly than ever before, she has enabled me to think clearly about the many levels of therapeutic work and I have always felt valued and understood by her.

Overall, the supervision has made me feel both contained and supported while strengthening my practice. Dr Moore is highly skilled at facilitating learning in the supervisory room and demonstrates a great awareness of ethical factors, diversity, equality, and inclusion, ensuring mindfulness of these aspects within the therapeutic setting.
